A current board member of the Foundation for Florida Gulf Coast University, Ann Hamilton holds a bachelor of science in speech pathology from Florida State University in Tallahassee and a master of arts in business administration from the University of California, Riverside. While working toward her master’s degree, she completed an internship at the General Dynamics Corporation in Pomona, where she conducted a feasibility study for a new employee childcare center. Ann Hamilton went on to serve as a product development research consultant with the Marketing Research Institute in Riverside, California, and a financial analyst with Kel-Tec in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
From 1994 to 1995, Ann Hamilton served as the executive director of the Foundation for the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall. In this position, Ms. Hamilton was in charge of a fundraising campaign to finance the renovation and expansion of the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, a major entertainment venue in Fort Myers, Florida
